Just wanted to post a quick pic of the birthday card I made for a friend. I bought a gift membership to Mystic Seaport and designed a 3 panel gift card accordion card around it. I used Karen Burniston's newest release Gift Card Accordion die as well as the Flourish Gift Frame die. I also used both the Script and Block Celebrate Thinlits from Sizzix and Tim Holtz. For paper, I used Kraft, Navy, and Red Bazzill, as well as Banner from Authentique's Freedom collection.

Vacation is over, have to go back to work in an hour, so I thought I would update with pictures of all the fun things I created while on vacation. Of course these are all gifts for family and coworkers, but I am so happy with how they turned out I have to share.
First my burlap canvas for my Grandmother featuring a picture of her maternal grandparents taken on christmas day in 1943. They are Christian Carl and Agata Arens who emigrated to the US from Copenhagen Denmark in the late 1800s.
Next is a gift for my cousin. It is a burlap canvas panel 8x8 in a frame. I wanted her to have a collage that reminds her of her love for her puppy.
And last but not in any way the least, because there are 16 of them and they took all week to make 8 different designs of size 10 tags all with die cuts, paint, spray stain, and distress ink. On the back of these wonderful tags are atc sized pocket envelopes that will hold gift cards for my hard working coworkers.

Hello again, just wanted to post a quick photo of a project I made for a friend. I took the idea from the Festive Merriment Class with Tim Holtz at the Fall Collins Show and made a new version of the burlap canvas. First a picture of the original made in class, which I have already posted, but "tis the season" so I'll post it again. Second is not the best picture of the project. I have another planned for a different gift so I will post that when it is finished.
Thanks for looking!! Enjoy your holidays.

More Pics from the Fall Collins Show
So to continue my last post about the fun and wonderful things made at the Fall Collins Show in Orlando, I have more pictures. These pictures are of classes I took with Dyan Reavely and Dina Wakely from Ranger as well as a class with Lynne Forsythe and Petaloo.
First up are the 4 cards made in the Petaloo class using Petaloo flowers, Graphic 45 paper, and Tattered Angels paint.
Next up is the 2 cards made in the Christmas Couture Class with Dyan Reavely. We used some non-Christmas stamps and made them into chrismas cards by changing colors and adding some holiday flair.
The next 3 cards are from the Snowy Birds Class with Dina Wakley. We used Dina's Scribbly birds and collaged our papers to make 3 fabulous out-of-the box holiday cards. Just adding some freehand hats for the birds really dressed them up.

And my final picture is from the Mixed Media Collaged Tree Canvas Class with Dina Wakely. This was a fun collage using paint, book paper, texture paste, deli paper, stamps, stencils, and dylusions spray ink.
Overall a wonderful, fun filled, educational weekend. Fantastic show Collins Group, see you in the spring!

Fall Collins Show in Orlando
At the end of September, I had the opportunity to travel to Orlando, FL to go to the fantastic retailer show put on by the Collins Group. I had a blast taking classes and learning all I could from the designers and the store owners and employees there. My store owner, Tracie, and I took many amazing classes and brought back some great samples to show off at the store (PaperCraft Clubhouse). Here are some of the pictures I took.
